The group was formed at St. Paul's School in 1982 and took its name from the Greek word used in classical and romantic poetry to signify the nightingale.

Soprano Holly Outwin-Tepe and pianist Catharine Dornin are two of New England's leading musicians. They perform music ranging from late seventeenth century to works by contemporary composers, including songs and piano literature by Mozart, Brahms, Schubert, Mendelssohn, and American composers such as Samuel Barber, Leonard Bernstein and Gwyneth Walker. Ms. Outwin-Tepe's beautiful, clear soprano voice and Ms. Dornin's brilliant pianistic style have consistently delighted audiences and concert presenters through out New England.

Although the group released a CD in 1994, the women also perform singularly. Dornin gave a recent concert at M. Steinert and Sons in Boston, Ma., and Outwin-Tepe's last performance was in the Magic Flute with the Raylynmor Opera.

Holly Outwin Tepe and Catharine Dornin--December 11, 2005 and July 23, 2006-Performances at Shaker Village in Canterbury, NH.

Catharine Dornin--Pianist for the Concord Community Chorus' production of Handel's "Messiah" for the past five years, the most recent of which was December 2 and 3, 2006 under the direction of conductor, Ben Greene as part of the Walker/Lecture Concert Series in Concord, NH.

Catharine Dornin-Many solo and ensemble performances at the Concord Community Music School in Concord, NH- where I've been a faculty member since 1984, the most recent of which was March, 2006. I'll also be appearing on another concert there on January 11, 2007.

Holly Outwin Tepe and Catharine Dornin- Appearances at Concord Hospital on the "Karner Blue" Lunchtime Concert Series--July 20, 2006. We'll also appear on this concert series again on February 15, 2007.

Fees for Performances: $300-$500;
Fee for Workshops, Lecture-Demonstrations and Master Classes: $250.

Type of programs offered: Performances, lectures-demonstrations, workshops, master classes.

Technical Requirements: A heated, well lit performance space with a fully functional, properly tuned piano.
